As noted by Khadjesari et al., digital therapeutics have the promise to reduce the treatment reach gap -- or at least mitigate this shortage by supplying additional means of help. However, making digital therapeutics widely available does not guarantee that they will have an equitable public health impact. For instance, the ‘digital divide’ is a new social determinant of health [3] that may increase health inequities among vulnerable patient populations
