Objective

Municipalities are the front-line of addressing the unregulated, toxic drug crisis but can’t solve it alone. The objective of this report is to discuss a comprehensive action plan for which the municipalities need support of the provincial leadership of Ontario.

Findings/Key points

To meaningfully address this crisis, action is needed across a whole continuum of interventions that are inherently connected and supportive of one another. This report outlines investments in prevention, treatment, enforcement/justice systems, and harm reduction as being the solution.
