Speaking and learning across disciplines in the harm reduction debate

Every empirical approach includes its own strengths and limitations. Every scholarly discipline and practice community contributes its own expertise, suffers from its own blind-spots, and experiences the realities of human overconfidence and group-think. We must learn from each other, particularly as we design or evaluate critical interventions to ad- dress the agony of the overdose epidemic.
